30 weeks

I am 30 weeks pregnant! We had our check up this week and everything looks great. As usual the doctor had to chase her around to get her heartbeat. It was in the upper 130's and even 141 at one point. I finally remembered to write my questions down before our appointment so I was able to ask the doctor specific things. And I've only gained a couple pounds in three weeks! Yay.

After feeling my belly the doctor said her head is probably near my left hip and her bottom is up near the right side of my belly button. It was sweet to think when we rub right there we may be rubbing her bottom. This also might explain the soreness/pain I've been feeling in my left hip.

She is still moving around a lot. I'm swelling at night and my rings are getting snug. I'm still having ligament pain on my sides and only feel relief when I can sit or lie down. My lower back is sore most of the day too. And I definitely feel like I'm starting to waddle!

I've been craving salads with ranch dressing... and I still eat an apple a day. It was difficult to eat healthy at the beach but I tried!

Things I've been working on include: our wills and life insurance policies, choosing a pedetrician, filling out the cord blood information, and more washing of her clothes!

We're looking forward to this weekend: Saturday we're working on the nursery and Sunday is our first baby shower!
