Her kicks and movements are so strong these days. And my belly is starting to move all over the place. Although I have noticed she likes my right side and lower left side.
By the end of the day my ankles are swollen and my lower back is sore. It's getting more difficult to be on my feet for long periods of time. And my feet have been so sore that I've only been wearing Birkenstocks. So, I miss all my winter boots!
Food wise I'm still not eating a lot of tomato based foods. I miss diet coke and chips!
This past week, I noticed a burning sensation on my shins that turned into these red bumps. By Wednesday the red bumps were all over my belly! I showed my mom and without thinking twice she said I had the hives. I called my doctor's office and had a long talk with a nurse. I've never had the hives and I don't know what caused it. The nurse said "Welcome to pregnancy! You're hormones are so screwy it'll be difficult to know what caused them." So I took children's benadryl and changed my body wash and lotion to Aveeno (great for dry and itchy skin!). My belly was very itchy- it was very hard to not scratch! I think it's about gone on my belly but there's still some bumps/scars on my shins. Thank God it's winter and I can wear pants!
And I got my results on the glucose test- I passed! The nurse did say that my iron is low but this is normal when you're pregnant.
We go back to the doctor next week. Looking forward to another good report!
