Emerald Isle part two

After the wedding, Jonathan, Elizabeth and I headed back down to Emerald Isle for some more beach time!

Elizabeth turned into a beach baby this week.  She really warmed up to the sand and LOVED the waves.  We played with the neighbors next door a lot too.  They had a girl a little older than Elizabeth and they were two peas in a pod!

Playing in the water.

She loved to sit in the chairs with Mommy too.

We got some beach toys at a local shop and I think she had more fun with the basket than the toys themselves!  We played with Grandpa a lot too.  She loved all the attention...

And his hat!

We spent a lot of time on the deck too.  In the next few pictures they're playing with Grandpa's phone and her play phone.

We had snack time on the beach each morning.  At one point Elizabeth started begging for more... so Jonathan started copying her.  It made for some funny pictures.  And you probably didn't notice but J & E are both wearing different sunglasses... Jonathan lost Elizabeth's in the waves and then a short time later lost his (Oakleys!).  So off to the store he went for a new pair for her.  Luckily he brought his other pair (his "nice" ones) for himself.  When he told me he lost both pairs he said, "Just hand me yours so I can throw them in with ours!  It'll make a dolphin family happy."

In the evenings after dinner we went back down to the beach to play in the surf, fish and enjoy the sunset.  Here's Elizabeth and Grandma in the waves.

Uncle Mike caught a fish!  A family stopped by so they could touch it.  Elizabeth actually touched it too!  The next day we played in the sand more.  Jonathan tried to teach Elizabeth how to dig in the sand... she was interested for a few minutes!

Mommy and Me

After nap time we ate our snack and loved on Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Denise!  Elizabeth was very interested in Grandma's Kindle and her buttons...

Aunt Denise's Phone...

And getting belly rubs from Grandpa!

We loved getting to spend time at the beach with our family!
