Emerald Isle part one

We were fortunate to get to go to Emerald Isle twice in two weeks! We went for a few days before the wedding and a couple more days after.  This was Elizabeth's first beach trip.  She was unsure about the sand at first but warmed up by the end of our trip.

We enjoyed swinging on the porch, playing in the sand, swimming in the waves with Daddy and playing with the little girl next door!

We fished after dinner one night in the surf.  Elizabeth loved seeing the fish... she wanted to touch it too!

We asked a lady to take a family picture... it was hard to see with the sun so bright but at least she got us in the frame!

 

It rained Labor Day so we went to the aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores.  Elizabeth liked seeing the fish and sharks.  We also got to see the penguins! 

Isn't this funny?!  Who thinks of these things!
