Trains and Automobiles...

A couple weekends ago we had to pick up Jonathan's trooper from Cleveland (Statesville)... so instead of driving two cars... we decided to take the train!  It was actually cheaper than a tank of gas (isn't that sad?!) and we had fun!  Elizabeth was unsure at first but by the time we hit Burlington she relaxed and took a nap!

We definitely suggest it, maybe not with lots of kids... but one was manageable!

Jeffrey, Jonathan's brother, picked us up in downtown Salisbury.  That evening we had a little cookout with the family.
Grandpa and Elizabeth.  She's getting so big!

Making sure the shoes are on!  This girl doesn't sit still for a minute!

See?  Two minutes later we were on the swing.

And a couple minutes after that we were running to greet the Great Grandparents and friends!

We had a great time visiting everyone!

I had no idea you could take the train! Where did you get on?

Cute pictures- especially with Great-Grandparents!

We have a train station here in Cary! We've been talking about trying it and this was the perfect excuse!
